During the Summer of 2020 (at the height of the lockdown) I created my first audio play “Treasure Island”. These are the first four episodes I recorded back then. I hope you enjoy!
Sweeney Todd “A String of Pearls” – The Kelly Ventura
An audio drama based on the public domain work “A String of Pearls” featuring the infamous Sweeney Todd, abridged and performed by Kelly Ventura. Before Sondheim, Tim Burton, or Johnny Depp, Sweeney Todd lived in the pages of the “penny dreadful” stories. These serialized works were the pulp fiction of the mid 1800s and featured the infamous barber of Fleet Street “Easy shaving for a penny, as good as you will find any.”
